Here I list few important tips for a
beginner:
Everyone who runs more than 50km a week knows how easy it is to destroy
your knees because of improper running shoes. It is important to
go to
an expert to analize your running style to choose appropriate shoes for
you. One should also change running shoes every 600km.
Here is my personal list of favorite running shoes:
Roadrunning: for me Asics Gel Kayano
and
Asics 2070-2130 are the best shoes. In fact I like Asics 2100 a bit more than Kayano.
Also I have rather good impression from Mizuno Wave Nirana.
Extreme condition, waterresistant shoes
impressions:
Asics 1080H20, 1090TR - average water resistence good stability
and relatively good cusioning. My favorite offroad shoes,. no longer
available.
Asics Gel Eagle Trail WP - waterproof, good traction, little cusioning
Asics TrabuccoH20 average water resitence
rather good stability and rather good cusioning
Nike Air Crested Butte, Nike Air Storm Current - no stability, less
than average cutioning but waterproof and breathable
Nike Air Strom Pegasus, rather average cusioning, neutral,
average waterresistance
Adidas WANAKA TR - waterproof and breathable, rather average cutioning
and stability, but I like it better than Nike Air Cretsed Butte
Adidas Climashell Radiate - not as good as advertised no waterresitence
no cusioning no stability
New Balance 806 - poor water resistance no stability poor
